We just returned from a whirlwind trip to Utah for a number of family events.
Day 1:
Flight to Salt Lake City.
Lunch with Aunt Astrid, cousins Lukas and Emily, Audrey and Collin at the Nauvoo cafe in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Joseph was impressed by the huge statue of Joseph Smith and it was fun to point out to him that they share the same name.
We toured Temple Square and showed our kids the Christus Statue, the model of the Salt Lake Temple, the Relief Society/Young Women/Primary Administration Building and the Church History Museum. There were lots of fun things to do and to look at and the kids enjoyed the museums.
Then we drove to Provo, got our kids settled and did a session at the Provo Temple. We stayed at Yvonne and Tim's beautiful home.

Joseph and Joseph (I didn't tell him to pose...it just came naturally)
Joseph was very taken by the Angel Moroni Statue
Interactive displays in the Church History Museum
A quick hello with one of my former "girls" from Girls Academy 1998! She's all grown up with 3 kids of her own now. It was fun to see her again, a beautiful, accomplished mommy.
More things to do at the Church History Museum
One tired little traveler
