A Family Lives Here

Since we have a baby at our house we have to keep little things off the floor. So, my dining room table frequently ends up covered in playmobiles and all their tiny little accessories. At times the mess drives me crazy, but I do enjoy seeing R and J playing together for hours with their little scenes. They're great friends and I'm so grateful for that.

This post is part of Queen Scarlett's "A family lives here" series. I love that lady and that her beautiful home is a family's home. She lets the kids LIVE and I admire her for that. I have been to her home. It is not chaotic. It's beautifully decorated and well taken care of. But it is not a museum where you're not allowed to touch anything, either. There are signs that children live and are loved there.

I love your kids, your warm, welcoming home and YOU. Miss you. Hope you come visit again soon!

Homes are definitely better...lived in! Though I can't stand "chaos", I find I am much more tolerant of "lived in" messes than I used to be. The fact that train tracks run 15 feet across my family room is something I will miss one day, as well as the little hands that put them there. :)

BTW, you won a little contest on my blog, the "Spring pick me up". Email me your address and I will send you a little prize. :)

About Me

My photo
I'm a woman who is trying to do her best each day of her life. I laugh, cry, make mistakes, create, make messes and clean. I love life and learning and staying in touch with family and friends. Every year I get to know myself better and how best to use my own strengths and weaknesses to navigate my path.
