A few weeks ago I was having one of those days that ended in tears and feeling kind of hopeless. I decided to take a different view of things and thought, no matter how bleak things are, I need to have a phrase I can say that can make me laugh. Well, the phrase that popped into my head was: "At least I still have my teeth." Random, I know, but it made me laugh. Elder Wirthlin said a few days ago in general conference that we need to laugh about trials and adversity. I'm not sure if this is what he had in mind, but it's what worked for me.
Today was an "at least I still have my teeth" day.
That's all.

About Me
- Greek Goddess
- I'm a woman who is trying to do her best each day of her life. I laugh, cry, make mistakes, create, make messes and clean. I love life and learning and staying in touch with family and friends. Every year I get to know myself better and how best to use my own strengths and weaknesses to navigate my path.

I loved that talk by Elder Wirthlin. Sometimes that's all we can do is "just laugh."
I had a day like that last week... (see post "Finishing Up"). Luckily they do eventually blow over, usually much more quickly when we can laugh about it. =]
